Specifications
| Product | Everbuild Stick 2 Spray Contact Adhesive |
|---|---|
| Format | Aerosol spray |
| Volume | 500ml |
| Type | Contact adhesive |
| Suitable Materials | Fabric, foam, laminate, rubber, lightweight boards |
| Application Method | Spray to both surfaces, allow to tack off, press together |
What it's used for
- Upholstery repairs and fabric bonding to foam or board substrates
- Bonding laminates and veneers to lightweight timber sheet materials
- Securing rubber trims, edging strips, and carpet tiles during flooring installation
- General fabrication and workshop assembly where a fast-grab, no-clamp bond is needed
Fitting and handling
Shake the can well before use and apply an even coat to both surfaces from a distance of approximately 20 to 30 centimetres, then allow the adhesive to become touch-dry before bringing the surfaces together firmly. Once mated, the bond sets almost immediately, so check alignment carefully before pressing. Store the can upright in a cool, dry location away from direct heat and sunlight, and keep the nozzle clear between uses by inverting and spraying briefly after each session.
FAQ
Can Everbuild Stick 2 Spray be used on MDF and sheet materials?
Yes. The adhesive bonds well to lightweight boards including MDF, making it suitable for laminate facing, edging, and fabric covering of sheet materials commonly used in joinery and shopfitting work.
How long does the adhesive take to tack off before bonding?
Tack-off time is typically one to five minutes depending on temperature and porosity of the surface. Apply in a well-ventilated area and allow both coated surfaces to feel dry to the touch before pressing them together.
Is Stick 2 Spray Contact Adhesive suitable for outdoor use?
It is formulated for interior and sheltered applications. For fully exposed outdoor fixing, a purpose-made weatherproof adhesive would be more appropriate.
Nottage Timber Merchants stock Everbuild Stick 2 alongside a full range of sheet materials and fixings at our Bridgend trade counter. If you are working with MDF sheets, we can supply both the board and the adhesive with next-day delivery available across South Wales and the Bridgend area.
